About us
Golden childhood of one little girl
Although this website is originally dedicated to Flat coated retrievers and our Signifer kennel, our story actually began much earlier – already two decades ago. I don't know why, but my only thoughts as a six-year-old girl belonged to a pack of Golden retrievers accompanying me on every step I take. That's probably ordinary dream of many kids, but not every one pursues it as persistently as I did.
Therefore, in 2001, Golden retrievers became an inseparable members of our family. The founder of Forever my kennel Zita Chlupate stesti, our main star – successful and famous JCh. DualCh. Kreizy Chlupate stesti and finally the most beautiful Kreizy's daughter Be Ever and Forever my. Kreizy together with her brothers belonged to the most outstanding individuals of one generation of Golden retrievers in the Czech Republic as threy were able to achieve the title champion of beauty and field trial champion. At that time, my teenage me sincerely believed I have the key to breed exactly the type of Golden retrievers I've always dreamed of.
I mean... it may sound crazy, but Kreizy was special. She had talent for hunting work you don't see very often, she literally read my mind, she gave 100% performance in all hunting exams, she was always there when I needed her and I'm not afraid to say she was my once in a lifetime dog. Those were the days of success.
Nevertheless, misfortune never comes alone... Kreizy got mammary cancer at the age of six and little Ever fell so unluckily at the age of three months that she remained "just" a pet. Even back then, I started to sense that if I couldn't continue in Kreizy's bloodline, I probably don't want to continue with Goldens at all. In 2017, when I allowed myself to leave my dogs for the only time in my life because of medical internship, one day my mother called: "You should come home, Kreizy won't make it any longer..." I managed to come home the same day, but that day definitely marked the end of one life chapter for our family.
From Golden retrievers to Flatcoats
They say time heals all wounds... It took a few years, the transition from a carefree childhood in the hometown to adulthood but my dreams remained the same so I decided to pursue them again, because life without dogs is missing something important.
And so, after years of thinking about the most suitable breed, hundreds of hours of choosing and waiting for the "right" combination, dozens of exchanged messages, one week of nerves on the road and exactly 3000 kilometres, our Bubba (Bubbell's All Eyes On Me) joined us on Valentine's Day of 2021. Enthusiastic, elegant, empathetic and hard-working future winner of practically everything we decided to do with her.
Shortly after, in the summer of 2021, Auriga (Auriga Ledove more) also came to our home to make our lives happier and fuller. A calm, absolutely easy-going, and unusually smart liver beauty has already multiple times succeeded in defeating black competitors. That's how she proved liver Flatcoats have their valid place in breeding as well as show rings.
Like yin and yang, perfectly complementing each other, these two Flat coated girls showed me it's always darkest before the dawn. They brought a lot of joy back to our home and thus renewed all plans to breed in the best possible way, most responsibly and with whole of my heart.
